Information we collect

When you use the VTEK website, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, account details, order information, trials, the Machine IDs you enter to activate licences, download activity and messages sent through Contact. We also receive basic technical information such as device, browser, IP address and site usage data.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the website, process purchases, issue licence codes, provide software and download access, respond to enquiries, send requested communications and improve our products and site performance.

Payments

Payments are handled by Paystack, our payment provider. VTEK does not store payment-card details on its own servers. Paystack processes payment information under its own privacy terms. If you pay with Bitcoin, the payment goes straight to our wallet and, like every Bitcoin payment, is public on the Bitcoin blockchain. We check it through public blockchain services, which never receive your name or email, and keep only its transaction ID with your order.

Cookies & analytics

The website uses only the cookies it needs to work. If we add analytics or marketing tools, we will list them here and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Service providers

We share limited information with service providers that help operate the website: Hostinger (hosting, email and our newsletter), Paystack (payments) and, if you choose to sign in with it, Google. They receive only the information needed to provide those services. Videos on product pages play from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode: YouTube receives information only when you press play.

Retention & security

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including legal, accounting, security and support requirements. Records of paid orders are kept for accounting even if you delete your account. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal information. In Account → Profile you can download a copy of your data, delete your account and turn product-update and offer emails on or off. Other privacy requests can be made through the Contact page.

Children

The VTEK website is not intended for children below the age at which they can lawfully provide personal information in their jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect such information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website, products, services or legal requirements change. The date shown on this page will be updated when changes are made.
